Overview
The Tel range of solutions from LaserByte are laser based free space optical systems designed to deliver reliable and secure wireless data transmission for telco applications including PDH and SDH. The range consists of three product groups. The E1 systems provide cost effective 2 Mbps point to point connectivity between two distant locations. LaserByte E1 systems use industry standard G.703 interfaces built into the laser head to ensure easy integration of the products into existing PDH environment. E1 systems are ideal to deliver last mile services or microcell/picocell connectivity for mobile networks. The Multi E1 systems offer an easy-to-expand flexible solution where multiple E1 connectivity is needed. They are based on a modular interface structure to accommodate four to sixteen E1 channels and/or five different data interface modules. Due to their flexibility Multi E1 systems can serve last mile applications as well as access network connectivity or cellular network extension. The STM-1 range takes a step further in bandwidth by delivering 155 Mbps transmission at a low cost per bit ratio typical to LaserByte FSO systems. These product are the best to extend SDH networks, access and core network support and to build high speed BTS to BSC connections to serve enhanced mobile applications and 3G networks. The LBTel-2000 products are based on modular mechanical design and have an adjustable transmitter optical system allowing custom configuration of the system for specific installations and site conditions. Multi-beam transmission and LaserBytes patented Automatic Inbound Power Control guarantees outstanding system availability figures even in harsh weather conditions. All LaserByte Tel Solutions can be ordered with IP based SNMP compatible device management that allows remote control and monitoring.
